Alex Pascual Cid wins Biomaterials Hackathon for Regenerative Medicine

Alex and his team won the Biomaterials Hackathon for Regenerative Medicine, an intense three-day international competition organised by the Smart Biomaterial Consortium (SBMC) of the Netherlands. 

They developed a neuro-regenerating therapy for treating ACL injuries, engineering smart biomaterials to restore knee stability and athlete propioception. The jury awarded them the €10,000 prize and encouraged them to develop a minimum viable product proof-of-concept for further advance the project!
